Airbag replacement
Hello,
Under the sun angle noticed a nasty scratch on my steering wheel airbag and since I'm pedantic when it comes to cars at first thought to replace only the cover - However it will be bit of integration into airbag I'v decide to go with full airbag as it's plug and play replacement.
The question that i have what is the best way to replace it without causing any fault/codes - can i disconnect battery in the back and will do the job or should I be aware of something else?
Side question is it safe to disconnect the battery for those models - as car has many systems working in the background?

your car might reset some of the systems back to factory settings like radio functions for example, but there really arnt risks to unhooking the battery. just dont install the battery backwards if you remove it for whatever reasons. just unhook one lead.
