Remotly started engine stops after door opened.

Hello everyone,

Does anyone understand a reason why MB stops remotely started engine if to open door or trunk? German "engineering"? It's so annoing. Why to jerk engine unnecesseraly. In my previosly owned caddy it wasn't happening. Was getting in the car without engine stop and drive away.

As said above. It's for safety. Different implementations. May also be for those who don't listen to the warning not to remote start the car in an enclosed environment and reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning when detected that a human is getting in the car. Who knows exactly w/o asking. Engine also stops after 10 minutes and can only be remote started one more time before it has to be started the normal way at least once.
