not having the best of luck with my w206. Got a front knocking from the front driver side.

dealer thinks it’s front strut so they’ve ordered one. However it’s on back order with no ETA.

in the meantime I’ve had a look under the car and noticed grease/oil where the anti roll bar bushes are.

I thought these are just rubber and not filled with grease?

does anyone else have this issue, could this be the cause of my knocking over humps.

looks like engine oil leaking from above down onto this bushing.


Look at your first pic where oil is sitting above the mounting bracket.

Either that or dealer service squirted some oil in the bushing hoping it would quiet down your issue.
