I plan on keeping my C300 for quite a while, so I did a couple of things to make service easier. Simple stuff, but I thought I'd post.
Why take the undertray off every time you do an oil change? You'd think M-B would put in an access hatch for the drain plug. A simple access hole was my solution; pics will help save some measuring for anyone who wants to do the same.
Also, wooden jack pad with a plywood disc that fits inside of the jack saddle. The wooden "U" around the perimeter locates nicely on the jack point for ease of alignment. A step of about 7mm works so the surrounding underbody plastic doesn't take any load.

One more...a swing-away sheet aluminum cover for the opening. A subtle bend below the fender washer keeps the cover flush and tight with the undertray.

And you can do one better, and get a Fumoto Valve for the oil drain plug. Run those valves in all but two of my vehicles... and those, on;y because they have Oil suction provisions.
