Minimum SOC

Is there a way to set minimum SOC to less than 50%
My commute is 7 miles so I only need ~15%, charging to 50 is a waste of home charging and cant seem to set any less

The car doesn't allow a lower SOC since this would also cause early degradation to the battery. Rapid discharge cycles are harmful to the battery so charging only 15% and driving to 0% everyday isn't a good idea.

If you never charge to 100%, I would recommend doing so at least once a month to maintain the life of your battery.

I see. What % are you at usually by the time you're home from work?

I assume work charging is free?
why not charge to 70% to minimise the wear and not bother charging at home if going to work the next day?

Yeah charging at work is free. Was looking for a way to charge to the bare minimum on a Sunday night if ive flattened the battery over the weekend.

If 50% is the minimum I could set the charge interruptions to only allow a 2 hr charge, that might work
