Unlock Lane Assist? 2023 C300

Hello!

My car has Distronic, parktronic, blindspot assist, pre-safe and the surround view camera. I love the Distronic but hate that my care does not have lane assist. I was told that my car does not have the camera module that sits under the rear view mirror. Is that camera all I would need to add to unlock lane assist? If not, what other hardware would I need and I'm sure it would require some coding.

My car has:
DA3 Parking Package

239 Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC®

235 PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist

501 Surround View Camera

234 Blind Spot Assist

299 PRE-SAFE®

P82 URBAN GUARD vehicle protection Plus

355 Extended MBUX functions"

37U Remote Services Advanced

852 Advanced Alarm with Parking Collision Detection

384 Communications module (LTE Advanced) for the use of Mercedes me connect

521 MBUX multimedia system

803 Technical modifications

889 KEYLESS-GO®

B59 DYNAMIC SELECT

L3E Multifunction Steering Wheel

I was curious about the lane assist as I had one on my 2016 Acura TL. That one had a three second self drive assist so it really helped keep the car centered when the lines on the road were visibly strong. But I drove an AMG C300 loaner that had the MB version and basically it just vibrated when the car got "off lane." It did nothing to keep me in the lane.

As to the camera, from everything I've read here, you can't really install one. Maybe one of the coders here can state otherwise.

I purchased the speed limit display add-on for $100 but it of course does not show stop signs as my car hasn't got the camera. I did buy a Blackvue dash cam but it doesn't interact with the MB system.
