CLS55 AMG
Another new video of the CLS63 AMG driving. I think the interior is just gorgeous. The redesign looks awesome but the rear end, I'm still not a fan of.

New CLS 63
Well , I think is definitely a move a the right direction , it is unique . The rear end has to grow on me ,, the front love it or hate is destrintive,,, Calling a 63 instead of 55TT or something is dum , The 55 motor is a bench mark in performance engines , the 2006 CLS 55 030 is a special ,this should be too

06 CLS55 w/ P030, 05 Jag S Type R, 05 TBird-68 Dodge Charger R/T-440 w/4speed I'm original owner
I was at the show and opened the hood to look at the TTs. Could not see them from the top. Maybe they are accessed from the undercarrage? Maybe the show version is a fake?
We know it's a poser. It has 63 badging with a 55TT engine. How about that for 'Truth and Selling'?

I wouldn't say the new one looks like crap by any means, but I will say that I personally prefer the old generation CLS63. The rear just doesn't look right to me and I cant stand the S class bulge over the rear wheels. I don't mind the front, but I DEFINITELY see the Dodge Magnum in the front.

That new CLS is pretty sporty looking and I really like the matte finishes they showed yesterday.

Someone asked the question as to why it was badged 6.3 but I didn't get to hear the CEO's reply. I was batter up at the bar when they posed the question - priorities I guess.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

I'm with the others on the tail lights...first the E now the CLS. The slanted lights remind me of the current Camry. They should just call the car "CLS" then there's no questioning the numbers as displacement. I'm not a fan of the matte finish. Guess I'm old school in that I like a nice shiny finish.

CLS
While I don't feel it looks like crap, I do agree with Paul and the Dodge front end comparison. It's very vertical now. I know everyone wants "tough" but the new design sure isn't as pretty as the original. I know Mercedes has to continue the new lines that the other models now share but I feel that it has lost the beautiful lines that made the original so unique. The new design is WAY too busy. Like the guys tried too hard to get it all work with the new style theme. No one can deny the performance and especially the new 63. They will sell. I just won't buy one.
