Thanks nlpamg!!

It is black on black. I'm not too fond of the wood trim (burlwood) but the deal was too good to pass.

I'll try to post pics this weekend!!

Bump. Curious to hear what folks are paying. Dallas prices would be particularly helpful.

I ordered mine about 45 days ago and got $5,000 off MSRP, and at least one other dealer was willing to match. Deals can be had, though not at invoice. You can see what others are paying at zag.com

I work with a dealer in Florida, it is usually invoice + $500 for any car including custom orders. I also get any other special incentives that are available at that time. Also she is offering to take 8 months of my lease on the E350.

Just bought mine at invoice - over $8K off sticker. USAA discount. Probably not relevant now but USAA saved quite some money! The worst part is I just got it last night at 7pm and it is now sitting in parking garage at the airport for the next four days!!!

How does the dealership handle the USAA discount? Is it part of the 6% markup on the car or will the dealership get reimbursed by MBUSA? I'm curious as to how best to negotiate the USAA or conquest programs into the mix, as vic55 has stated in the past there is an approximately 6% dealer markup and 6% dearler holdback (correct me if I'm wrong in this). If the dealership is getting reiumbursed for USAA/conquest I think really excellent deals can be made.. thoughts?

USAA is fixed price - there is no negotiation as they sell for $3,000 over invoice and then they take off an additional $3,000. MBUSA reimburses dealership as they (USAA) have a fleet program with MBUSA where they get cars cheaper in bulk so dealers are still making $3,000 on the vehicle. I got them to also throw in 3yrs of maintenance as well. You are also not allowed to combine with conquest cash because I was coming from BMW. It was one or other and USAA was way better than what actual dealer will even negotiate normally

Which dealer in the Dallas area did you go through? I'm also a USAA member and have received their discounts on my last 3 MB's. The Houston dealers are not nearly as negotiable as your dealer. Thanks!

There are different levels of membership. To get the $3,000 USAA incentive (on this particular car), you have to be military or family of military. The basic membership will give you access to their car buying service which still might save you a few bucks.

You can actually get a discount for just being a USAA member and not utilize the car buying service... at least that was my understanding.

I used USAA discount on mine. I got it for 1500 below invoice in the end, but it took awhile. Only thing else I should have worked in was tinted windows.

Should not even be a negotiation as mine was set pricing that changes every month. I used MB of Plano

I think this is probably correct. My grandfather was a commander in Navy for 35 years and I have full USAA benefits and to get the deal I had to login and provide dealer with some special control code they needed
