In Australia that car is around $250,000 US hell an E55 still sells for close to $100k US and the aus doller is on parity with US you guys are very fortunate to get these cars dirt cheap.

I have this same vehicle and am loving it. The only thing is I clear bra all my cars to protect against unavoidable road rash. Heard this color is practically impossible to match if painting is needed down the road. Tested an area with a regular 3M strip and made it appear like clear coat, defeating the matte purpose. Was thinking about putting on the 'frost' one on the front bumper. Do you or anyone with a matte paint thought about this issue?

the matte paint is strong and doesn't need protection as MB says.
so i guess no need for clear bra.
i kept it as it is.

do you know how different gulf specs are to US specs? im just wondering about the cooling aspects and how efficient it is to fight the heat

Even the US spec cars are designed to withstand high temperatures as most of the southern states have high temperature and similar weather to the UAE's weather.

loving every bolt in the car.
i drove my old E55k today. and to be honest at turns it feels way to shabby and not stiff and tight.
new CLS is for sure a very nice car in handling. way ahead of the old one.
