I remember vividly when the original CLS came out back in 05 and photos were parading this forum like there is no tomorrow. Now it is a dated car and this new one has taken over. Am just sitting back and watching patiently in the next one year if the excitement about this CLS will still be the same. There is no great deal about it. It's just but a car.

The 5.5 biturbo motors are irresistible that is why i don't want to test the devil that i know so quick. I don't want to pull the trigger so soon. Patiently waiting for the first buyers to take the big hit 
If i dare the recent 5.5 biturbo motor, i know i can't resist it and that will push me to head straight to the bank. Like my dad will always say "The patient dog eats the fattest bone".

Yeah, I know the problem. I have two 63 NA AMG s still and I am sorry, they just feel slow now. Addicted again.

Totally agree. I know the UK cannot equate to the US of A when it comes to wealth accumulation but the UK has always protected the little she has because we know perilous times will be hard for the younger generation to bear. We think for our future generations.
The American credit system is all about consuming today to the detriment of tomorrow's future. Some Americans spend alot and are not frugal. Some Americans have abused the credit system for the sake of displaying high social status artifacts and exuberant lifestyles. In my dictionary, that is no true wealth. Personally, i will find it disturbing spending the amount of a little house on a brand new car for the sake of keeping up with the jones. That is sheer madness. Such lifestyles are frowned upon in my society.

The Renntech silver CLS I drove Friday, it about 740hp now. Has bigger turbos, headers and 200 cell cats, additional cooler. They say when it is done should be in the neighbor hood of 800hp.
