Switching the exhaust via the steering wheel is even better than the old Brabus switch on the center console, which requires taking apart the panels and running additional wires!
I'm assuming they have some kind of CAN electronic device or software modification that works in sync with the Mercedes electronic system right?
I have a similar system on my F599 with the Novitec stuff and it works great!

I did a small comparison and I know it's not the best one I will try to do another one as soon as I get the chance. The switch is the steering wheel, by pressing the up arrow on the small controls for two seconds you get the flaps to open for the deep pitch, and two seconds on down it closes it and you get a normal sounding exhaust.

The steering wheel exhaust valve control is pretty slick. We are planning a valve exhaust but the button will not be on the steering wheel.

No clue in the past we have used wireless remotes. I might run a switch and mount it somewhere. I think the plan is while the ecu is off being beefed up, going to look at the exhaust. Car is on the dyno as we speak.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Do I understand correctly...you're working on an exhaust for the 2012 CLS63?
If so, where does it start and end in the exhaust pathway?
