Traffic readout on the new Nav system
I'm loving very single minute of driving my 2012 CLS63, but there is one thing that I haven't figured out yet. How do you turn off the stupid traffic readout on the navigation system?
Every single time I use the route guidance system, the damn thing starts reading out the traffic report and it would repeat itself every now and then. I live in LA, so there are traffic everywhere and all the time.
Please advise!
P.s. For some reason, I can't enter new navigation addresses while the car is in motion. This is very annoying too, as all of my previous Mercedes and BMWs could allow me to input addresses on the go.

Yeah, it's sad.
US nav won't allow input of a new address while you are driving. You can select only from your saved list or last destinations list.
It won't let you play DVDs while you are driving either. Only when parked.
If you figure out how to get the traffic announcement 'Off', please let me know too. Congested freeways is a given in LA. LOL!

You should be able to enter addresses using the Voice Command
Get on to the Nav screen and then hit the voice button on your steering wheel and it should prompt you to start saying the destination
