First oil change & break-in for 2012 63 AMG?
Just put 1100 miles on it in 24 hours. Dealer said that there is no break-in period and that no service is needed for 10,000 miles [said that 2 oil changes & transmission fluid change is already done at AMG factory].
What is the case? What should I do?

The sticker on mine said start to increase speed slowly after 1000 miles. So every drive just go up 5 miles. That's what I'm starting to do since I just broke 1200 miles in a month.

If you have the LSD, I thought the fluid was supposed to be changed at 2000 miles. It also never hurts to get an oil change around 1000 or 2000 miles to flush residual shavings out of the engine.

i thought the same thing, but the manager said that only G55 diffrential oil is being changed after 1000 miles. the new CLS63 dosn't need engine oil untill 15k km and the diffrential oil doesn't need to be changed. although my car has LSD.

My sticker said (just like my C63) the LSD needed an oil change at 1,875 miles. So I'll do both that and oil at just under 2k miles.

i called the dealer and the service manager apologized to me for the wrong information that have been passed to me.
he said salesman doesn't know about these things although a i asked them.
i sent it to the dealer yesterday, i told them i drove 7000km and the dealer will be responsible for any thing wrong goes with my diffrential. because it was their fualt. and he totally agreed.
dbasons55:
+ i asked them to remove the 120km thing ( they will do it to make me happy and not complain in the ME main office although the claimed it is illegaland UAE bla bla spec and regulations, LOL) and to fix the rattle above the speedo cluster.

Change engine oil every 5k mi and do the first at 2500 mi
LSD at 1000 mi per the maintenance book and every 15k thereafter-make sure they put in the 030 oil vs the standard non LSD oil

Trust but verify. Check the 63 Owner's maintenence booklet yourself. In the 55s booklet, it states 1000mi for the LSD. It's highly unlikely that differences in the engineering of the LSD from 55 to 63 extended the life of the brake-in oil. There is alot of misinformation out there.
