Just got my CLS63....

I have a similar combination of cars to that referred to above -- a 2007 BMW 335i hardtop convertible, and a 2012 CLS63. I decided not to trade in this time, so I now have a very nice combination. I'm not much on modding; they're both straight stock, but loaded with most options.
Certainly they're very different. Until a couple of months ago, I thought of the BMW as being a pretty fast car. But not compared to my new rocket. The BMW's still a lot of fun to drive, and its smaller size makes it seem more maneuverable, even if the slalom times don't bear that out.
I'll have to admit I've tried to step on the nonexistent clutch in the CLS63 a dozen times. First automatic I've owned in 20 years, but at least it's a good one -- no, a great one. For me, the S+ mode is better than the paddle shift mode. I guess I'm getting lazy.
