finally ordered my cls63...

diamond white, designo deep white interior with piano black lacquer trim, premium 1, parktronic, P30 performance package, red brake calipers, carbon fiber trunklid spoiler... very excited about it!

hopefully it doesn't take too long to deliver

That's going to look sikkk with the white interior.

thanks! deliberated quite a bit on the color combination but decided to pull the trigger with white/white. i'll have to be **** keeping it clean

thanks centurion! first i ordered black premium interior with carbon fiber trim, but i think the deep white interior with piano black will be a great combo with the diamond white exterior.

will definitely post pics when it arrives... hope it doesn't take more than 3 months!

 

Congrats! The bad news is expect 10 to 14 weeks for your order to come in I suspect based on my experience.

 

looking forward to seeing it, how long is the build time.

For mine , I am thinking about Mocha Black and Deep White. I hope the dash black leather is going to be in higher quality with Designo interior. Knowing mercedes I am not sure. Make me wants to fly out to Germany and find out how these Designo CLS look ?

 

If the black leather quality will be anything like in this picture it would great.

thanks pgordon. does it take longer with the designo interior? i ordered mine through fletcher jones, and my salesman said that their dealership brings in orders faster than others, although i don't buy it 100%.

i see that you ordered lunar blue. i took a couple pics on the CLS550 in lunar blue yesterday while at the dealership. it's probably the same lunar blue as in the 63 model. hope these pics give you a better idea of what you can expect

also check out the storm red metallic on the new SL, the ugly (in my opinion) cuprite brown, the designo mystic blue on the S600, and the indium gray.

 

i think the build time depends, but it should ship to your location within 45 days of completing the build. the mocha black and deep white would like nice

 

I suspect designo takes longer but not sure as I did not go that way with my order.

Thanks for the pic. Ordered Lunar Blue with Ash interior and CF trim on faith. My wife and I loved the blue/silver combo on my M3 sedan and were hoping it would look striking on the CLS63 as well. Dealer said it is the only 63 ordered in that color for the U.S. market. Recently, some dealers on cars.com have posted pictures of a few Lunar Blue CLS550s. Looks much better with the CLS lines as compared to the E class. I am cautiously optimistic at this point on what it will look like in person.

Thanks for the support Vic! I confirmed it is on a cargo ship right now crossing the Atlantic. Expected to arrive at Baltimore VPC on 11/15. Decided to buy rather than lease so I could customize.

 

Your Carbon on Ash will look excellent--- my car was just a car that I found and not a personal order and the carbon fiber looks great on black interior but contrast would make it that much better!!!

 

We love this combo, we have done similar on our 750li and m3 but that was with individual.

I didn't ask for the piano on the gear console, but it looks kind of cool.....
wish I had a CLS insteadthat car seriously sounds bada$$!!!

 

When you order designo leather you can be sure that you get nappa (high quality) leather on dash.

 

Looking at the pictures in this thread, not so sure about the high quality leather ? I wonder who can clarify this once for all.

just got word from the dealer that mine is arriving on port on march 3.

some time to clear customs and arrive in the west coast, i'm thinking march 10-13ish delivery.

Nice ,can't wait to see that deep white! I ordered mine a month ago and decided to change it to the same color combo.

 

I wanted designo colours too, exterior and interior, but when I ordered a few weeks ago, they told me that they don't do any more designo for 2012 and I would have to wait for the 2013 model (not available before end of the summer). So I ended up selecting black on black. ETA is early May...I cannot stand the plastic of my C63 anymore (which was not a problem until a few weeks ago ).

 

^^^Dang that's weird cause i just changed mine a couple days ago to deep white. But i have to wait an extra month june until delivery -.-
