I cant believe I input P40S instead of P43S... They are P43S's... and yes HRE was little more conservative as they hadnt done a 11 inch wheel I believe. The angles are slightly deceiving but it could use a 5mm spacer in the rear max... offsets were et 30 up front and et 45 out back.

Not to hijack your thread, but having the car in person, what are your thoughts on a 10.5" wheel with a +35 running say a 285 or 295 tire?

Well a 10.5 wheel is about 12mm less wide than an 11 inch wheel- so running that with a less wide tire and lower offset would almost be a wash. Id rather have the 305 on this car---

They are the P43S standard- the non S weighs a little more and the concave forgings for my fitment are not out yet.

Well, since Ive only driven the car about 40 miles since the drop my experience is limited but I have been able to take big bend turns, tight turns, and a few long straights over 140 mph. The car rides great; the KW's are really compliant and they are progressive so I get the firmness when needed. It almost feels like the car is a little more comfortable than with the stock springs. Im glad I have the performance pack dampners though or the car might be too soft (for me). Understeer seems to remain equal to the stock height and rubber and under cruising the speeds the car is not bouncy at all.

Looks nice, but fails in comparison to how well you have done your other cars. That being said I am certain this is not the end of the mod string for this car.

The Hankook's may also have helped with the feedback your getting.
I found them to be very compliant on bumps and cracks, never giving that harsh feeling typical of low profile tires.

I usually drive with the suspension setting at Sport+ and love the response I get around turns. I also have the KW's on the way and hope to get similar results to what you have.

One question: Is there still a noticeable difference with the suspension set to 'Comfort' vs. 'Sport+'?

With the stock springs there's a very noticeable difference that can be felt. I hope that stays true with the KW's.

Well for the short amount of miles I have driven the car with the KW's I can definitely still tell the difference between comfort and sport+ ... but comfort on my car is like sport on yours since I run the AMG PP. but never-the-less the dampening does not wash up with the KW's.

You should have them installed by my guy- he is an expert now and is fair on pricing...

I stopped going by there about 2 years ago or so---- but HMS just closed down for good last month.

I still ordered my tires and wheels there until they shut down.

Congrats Vic. Those pics do not do the car justice. I was in Miami over the weekend and saw and heard a couple of black TT CLS63s roll by and OMG do those things have road presence. I can only imagine what yours looks and sounds like cruising along in the flesh.

BTW, I think the drop is just right. I have never been big on the totally slammed look.

Oh boy, I can't wait to be, just like Vic.

Im scared.

And you are correct the car looks better than the impromptu shot....and its actually about an 1/8th lower cause those pics were prior to the final adjustment. The car is amazing in all aspects for 2 ton plus car: power, luxury and surprisingly efficient handling too. I didnt get the tune done yet--- but it should happen this week or next.
