great color!
loving the color combo... congrats on being the owner of the first lunar blue cls63 in the US! also love the ash interior with carbon fiber trim... has a nice contrast with the black 
i was told from my dealer that my order is officially in and got my PO#. on the status it says the scheduled decade is second of december. considering that i'm ordering designo interior and i'm out in the west coast, when would be a realistic delivery date? i'm guessing end of february...? any insight?

Its amazing both in terms of driving experience and exterior/interior fit and finish. At night the yellow gauge lights and blue ambient lighting make me feel like I am driving some car right of Tron Legacy. Here in Philly I have had at least 3 people stop me a day since I have owned it to ask me about it.
I will always miss the M3 but it was not a car that really hit the fun factor every day (at least in primarily city driving for me) because of its modest and even torque delivery. You needed to get the car out on the track or on a long twisty road where you could really wind it past 6000 rpm to enjoy it.
By contrast, the monster torque of the 5.5TT makes it fun to drive every time I get behind the wheel and it shines in city stop and go driving where off the line pick up matters. It is a much bigger car than my M3 and leaks its surgical precision but I have been very impressed with how well it handles fir its size. As so many others have said it really does feel like a much smaller car behind the wheel than it actually is. And the level of luxury is again on a whole different level at least by comparison to my M.
I will update as I put on more miles and have more to share. On the transmission, will post on the MCT thread in the CLS pages with some observations.

good to hear great things about your new car! makes it even tougher for me on the long wait 
anyway, do you know how the competitor program works? i own a lexus and am leasing a mb, but i was told from my dealer that once my car that is on order takes delivery is when i sign all the papers, etc. if the competitor program expires then, would i not be getting the 2k off? is there a way to lock in the incentive while the vehicle is on order?

I am continuing to love this color and think the reason why more people haven't ordered it has to be photos just do not give it justice. It looks black in no light, electric blue in low light, and more of a deep blue in high light.
