Dyno results of the 2012 M5

Check out this link. The M5 only has 444hp at the wheels and it only get 53hp gain with a tune

Sounds like Modifying the CLS 63 is much more satisfying

The car has less than 50 miles on it and they're running it at high rpm .
Its not broken in yet, it will make more power when its completely broken in.

LOL what is this TEST made by GUSTOV?

all the other reviews showed the E63 doing low 4's 0-60. Actually all the numbers seem off.

This whole test is biased.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Also, why is the Panamera S in the test and not the Turbo???

I'll reserve judgement for now and wait to hear from a few more sources.

They claim the E63 is with PP but it's clear the break calipers are too grey for that! I think this article is good so if the non PP E63 can hold on to the M5 with high performance kit then the PP E63 should walk the M5 all day long

Not too unfamiliar...

I remember back in the day when the W211 E55 came out and the E60 M5 was not out yet and all the internet forum comparos were occuring. A lot of supposition and forecasting based off non empirical data IMHO back then and now.

I could care less about a dyno that occured at a single point in time without "real time"comparos. Dynos are just pieces of paper that provide perspective. Ill sit and enjoy SGC's 126 mph runs in the CLS63 and know that that really happened.

Lets see the cars on the road and how they fare. And no Gustav vids please...

I've got my name on the list for an m5. The M5 will be a good match we just already have a head start.

It is tough though Mercedes built a really great car with these TT's. I am amazed with the power the car has now with it tuned. I'm sure there will be many comparisions, like Vic said it all comes down to the dragstrip.

I believe it is a no-cost option to keep the silver calipers over the red ones with the performance package.

To my knowledge all PP automatically come with red calipers, and non PP come in grey calipers, the only way you can't know the difference from the calipers is if the car has carbon ceramic break option. I would suggest you visit the AMG site and check out what color calipers come in a PP.
