Awkward but understandable why they did this. This will make turbo replacement much easier. You should look at my car(Z32TT's). You can replace turbos with engine in but it will lead you to anger management class so it mostly requires engine pull.

I think its so funny that they have to "replicate" the engine note through the speakers!! I'm glad AMGs have the nasty low rumble
