It is definetly worth the wait. When spending this kinda money i guess it does make more sense to order to get all options you want. I just got lucky my car had exactly what I wanted. Anyway congrats man I can't wait to see pics.

my salesman told me he was informed of the build date as well...
but what is the "build date"?
is it the date they start to build the car,
if so how long after that does it take to complete typically?

and you add 4-6 weeks more for p30 package....
and a little more time if you also choose designo options....
My car had 'gone red' on the dealers screen, and he says that is when the car cannot be configured anymore....scheduled to build on the 9th of Feb!

I waiting 8 months for my designo matte grey 2012 CLS63 and all of the other Designo options are bull****...you can't even get the in the states...trust me, I tried. You can't even get the exterior carbon fiber option advertised. I ordered early which is one reason why it took so long but I told them that I would wait for the exterior carbon and interior leather options and they told me that it just wasn't going to happen. Also - My suspension "seized" at about 1800 miles and LSD has something to do with it...not sure what.
But man I love this car!!!!

I ordered early, had a 10/4 build date and it was delivered Thanksgiving. I was already in a 2008 CLS 63 so the wait was OK. The color is actually designo Magno Alanite Grey which was a huge reason for the wait. As far as the rear suspensions I really don't understand but that is the word he used...says he's only seen it once before. Circuit board was completely fried and I am waiting for the parts to come in so I don't have her for like two weeks. Killing me!
