Overriding default driving settings

O.K., I have to know.......

When is a really smart owner going to figure out a way to override the default operating settings on the 2012 CLS63???? Specifically I would love it if I could use the AMG button to KEEP the car in S+ mode with SPORT handling engaged.

On such a performance oriented car, it befuddles me that these parameters automatically default to the baseline. In fact, it drives me crazy.

Anybody else dying for a solution to this issue?!?!?!?! And yes, I know I can just push the two buttons, but that isn't the point. I'd like to be able to set my own default settings on a $100K car!!!!

EPA ratings are the actual reason, I believe.

But I echo your thoughts - maybe a good tuner could wander around the programming?

you can progrman AMG button for gear and suspension, but not for ESP.

just but the settings you want and then keep pressing AMG for 5 seconds.

other than that, i hear you and we all are suffering from it.
