Interesting to see the results. We go round and round over 2.5 vs 3 on the 55s. Years we argued until Bruce ran the world record in WIDE OPEN headers. Guess that solved the back pressure horsepower question.

Yes Tom is who I am referring to. I think you should deffinitly get the tune even though you have the pp I understand you have faster cars but the tune I feel makes the car better than what it was and for the price for what it is and what it is giving you I feel as it is a no brainer even if I had the pp which I don't I would of still got the tune no doubt about it. So I say due the tune on the cls and the wagon

I believe that OE is going to be taking care of that in the next week or so. We actually just finished the downpipes on Thursday and we are located about 5000 kilometers from Jeremy so it is not that easy to get it done right away. I believe Jeremy is making a trip back here soon and one of the things to do will be to take care of that CEL and do a specific down pipe tune. I'm sure that BigAl can give you more information on that and keep everyone up to date when that happens.

When i talked to Jeremy last he is coming to NY soon and it will be taken care off soon as it is i will let you know. As for results i did not have time yet to get it to the dyno but i did do a baseline and i put 512hp to the wheels. I should be going soon and i will keep you posted on that as well

Yes, we understand that there are A LOT of solutions for the CEL, this thread is about downpipes and let's reserve it for questions and discussions about that.

Besides, rather than working on turning the CEL off, why don't you work on leaving the rear o2 on and have no check engine light when the cat's eliminated. Someone should actually take the time to work on a real solution to the problem, not one that just shuts the light off but I still can't pass inspection. Make it so that I can go to NY state inspection and be able to pass by plugging into the OBD plug.

Does your program do that? Have you figured out how to do that? That is what I would be interested in. If that's what your program does than please, you are welcome to derail my thread and talk about that. If all you are doing is turning the check engine light off, I think all of you tuners should go back to the table and figure out another solution.

Since this is a sponsor thread- and not Vtech's I removed that post.

Vtech if you have a tune that can do certain things start your own thread please or join in a member's thread but not a sponsors thread. And I know RPM offered a free "derailing" but it wont work IMHO.
