Hi guys, looking in to buying a 2012 CLS. Would you please help me and let me know what the actual MPG you are getting?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I dont see any traffic where I drive and about 80% of my drive is speeds over 65mph; and often over 130mph when the road is wide open and safe for short bursts. Since I dont have a lot of stop and go driving Im seeing 15mpg and thats with a heavy foot at higher speeds.
Around town Ill see closer to 12mpg.
Disclaimer to most:
If gas mileage is a concern this is not your car.

Im sure you will get varying responses based on driving habits and commute/drive schedule traffic.

Thanks for the response!
Reason I was asking was that MB claim 15/20+mpg but I have a hard time believing anyone would get 20+mpg even when driving only highway..? I believe my fuel consumption would be close to yours Vic55 as my driving habits seem to be close to what you describe.

this car is actually super good on gas milage. my fathers owns a cl63 and he's getting about 12mpg on a easy right foot. i'm always on the gas and i'm getting around 14mpg. i get about 12mpg in my m3. also consider the two turbos are working hard to give you power while having no negative effect on your gas milage.

I averaged 15.6 mpg on my 2005 E55 over the last 60,000 miles I drove it. Car was flashed.
On my new CLS, I have averaged 17.2 mpg over the first 2,500 miles. ECU was flashed 400 miles ago (and I *#&@%$*@!%$* love it!!!)
I do about half my driving on highways, half around town and I try to get frisky with the Benz at least once a day!!! Hope this is a helpful datapoint.
