I know we have several customers that were running in this event today and we are looking forward to the results.

It looks to be an awesome event. Here is the website for details

It was a great event and a lot of fun. Several great cars. Will post up more details later with video's from the go pro. I only ran few times (since lines were long) against a modifed 640hp 911 turbo(996), Renntech SL65, Modified E63, AMS tuned CLS63.

I will say that I have much respect for the new CLS 63. I did race the new CLS63 w/AMS tune and damn it was a very close race. Several people said I won by a few inches but after reviewing the video I am not so sure. It didnt seem to be a very good run for the CLS63. I'll let you guys be the judge when I get a moment to upload videos.

***I will like to note that I didnt stay the whole day which is another reason why I didnt get that many runs in.

Big Jim was there (jrcart) or at least on the list. Wonder how the Black Series Beast made out?

Sorry about the mix up V-Tech. Great tune with some serious top end. If I remembered correctly it wasnt till about 120-130mph where he started to pick up serious power.

If Greg is the one with the new white 2012 CLS AMG, I raced him as well. Very cool nice guy. I spoke with him directly and am 100% sure he said he was running an AMS tune for the event. He said it had just been installed on his car the prior day. I recall him mentioning something about it being a beta version, so maybe prior to that he had the vtech tune, but looks like he switched over for the event.

No matter whose tune he was running, that car was a beast!

Alright guys here are the videos

Here is my run against the modded Porsche 640hp

http://youtu.be/Kl5sHQk5eDY

and my run against Renntech SL65

http://youtu.be/l4T0X_MAxXs

run against modded E63 but had some trouble with Gopro cam

http://youtu.be/x7hIq6HILFY

and finally my run against the infamous CLS63.....I could tell you that once I hit about 130 mph he was reeling me in big time. Fortunately for me we were running out of runway or else he wouldve keep on pulling. This CLS had some major top end.

http://youtu.be/9Ig0vIvdnn8

Here is a pic of my race with CLS63 that was taken by a photograhper by the end of the runway. You can see how close it was near the end while hitting roughly around 150mph

Good driving, building that boost right before the cone.

The CLS63 guy prob didn't know how to do it. I wonder if he built it up properly.

Fast cars in general....
Sorry for the confusion guys. My car was indeed running on V-tech stage 1 tune at the event. I was misinformed by my shop guy and obvisouly he was confused with other cars he's been working on. A full write up on V-tech stage 1 tune will be followed soon. Stay tuned !!

Not that I don't know about 'break boosting', I careless who wins or loses. I'm more into 'real world result' a not 'YouTube' result

Thanks but to be honest I am not taking it as a win. For some reason we didnt match up too will going to 50mph before the cones when starting the race and it looks like I got jump. All those variables matter to me personally especially when the race was so close by inches. Also he wouldve keep on pulling and wouldve been a huge loss for me if we had more runway.

Again HUGE respect for the CLS63 as he ONLY has a tune Damn!

Great job V-Tech. I will go back and correct my post about the incorrect tuner for the CLS.

at the rate that cls was reeling him in at the end of that race, i wonder if a stock p.p. CLS63 would have pulled as well?

looked like that was a "non" P.P CLS w/ vtech tune in that race?

I doubt it. That V-Tech tune makes a huge difference over a stock PP car.

One thing to remember is a non PP car with a V-Tech stage 1 tune and a PP car with the V-Tech stage 1 tune will both make the same power.

URnext,

What mods have you done besides tune and what HP and TQ are you achieving?
