In the market but...
What's up everyone? I'm currently in the market for a 2012 cls63. I've liked the new body ever since its debut but I have a few things to ask. Why are there so many used cls63 for sale on autotrader? Is there something wrong with the car that people trade it in? This has gotten me curious since its a new model car. Maybe the performance is a let down?

As for performance, I know this is your first post but take a look in this forum for complaints vs happiness. Its a no brainer; how many benzes come stock with 550 hp and 590 tq, run zero to 60 under 4 seconds, zero to 100 under 8.5 seconds, trap 120+ in the quarter mile and weighs over 4200 lbs? None that I know of at this time. Performance should be the least of any one's worries with this car; speeding tickets should be.

Maybe he meant C219 (2007-2011) generation of CLS 63 AMG's. There aren't a lot around here (NY), and the forums are a great place to go and see if there are any major issues with the car, or to see what other issues people run into. It could be cars that are coming off a lease or people just trade it in for something more economical since gas prices are up
Generally speaking, it seems to be a fairly reliable car.

A good friend of mine just sold his because of too many speeding tickets. The judge said 1 more moving violation and he would lose his license.
(He did not have a radar detector.)
Speed/acceleration… Resistance is useless!

Thanks for all of the replies guys. Sorry if I didn't clarify myself more on which model year I was talking about. But it's the c218. To be honest when I seen that many '12 on autotrader, I started to give this car a second thought. But I doubt this car is a let down performance wise like Vic said. I'm going in for a test drive tomorrow it's amazing how MB made this car look so good!
