I will soon- a few more mods to occur
I agree, the trim is hit or miss and I can always pull it if decide. Thanks.
Appreciate the words. The rails were left mounted when wrapped. The sponsor here Don Nguyen did it. We thought about doing the handles but member here Freefall tried it and the wrap just wont take/stay.
We should meet in Mexico and test our tunes!!
Thanks for the props. Yes it was done without removal. Don Nguyen, sponsor here, has a local Orange County shop so I just drove over and did the wagon and the CLS. Im sure there are plenty of wrap shops that can do this for you.
Same exact tune. HRE's are P45SC's. They are not as concave as the CLS because the E class runs a medium (higher) offset.
Gratitude- your statement sums it up.
Whats up bro!
It would look flat amazing on a sedan; I chose them because they added a bit more sport to the wagon and I already have the 40 series on my Porsche and CLS.
Ill be honest, the PDK 997TT with a tune and exhaust was/is my fave because of the neck snapping launches along with the GTR. But the Porsche inspires me to drive and involves me more. Hard to say in short few words but it just makes me feel part of the road instead of inside like being in big shell (GTR).
Now the wagon has made its move. It has a tune and looks like no other out there. There are Porsches, GTR's, and CLS's but hardly any modded wagons that I know of. It launches from a dig with brute gripping force now with the tune and the rear weight bias. And it sure is fun to pass up sedans in big turns in triple digit speeds. Their faces are priceless as the white heart goes by. Oh did I mention the M157TT exhaust (with resonator removed) is the best sound I have ever had on a Benz?
Agree, the wagon is not for everyone but it catches eyes.
Im just a B celebrity trying to make the A list sir.
Vic great job. both of these cars are truly inspirational, they represent how these bad *** benzs' are supposed to look, I have two questions when they wrapped your belt moldings on the doors and drip rail moldings around the windows did they have to remove them to do so? or did they wrap them while they were still mounted? also have you ever considered painting the chrome part of the handles? I very much like the way non key less go cars handles look
the cls looks so amazing.
i have been looking for a real life example of the chrome around the windows blacked out.
can you tell me what type of place you had to go to get it done? or did you do it yourself? it looks really clean.
and is it doable without removing the trim? (around the windows)
by the way, the wheels would look real cool with the Mercedes wheel caps put on, with everything black except the star.

Vic the beast looks gorgeous ! Very understated and elegant as all your cars . Can you clue me in on the Vinyl wrapping of the window trim .. I have no idea if there is someone offering that in Miami , is it durable ? I would very much like to wrap my trim that way .. even though the trim is chrome .. I think that in fact the material is plastic .. can you confirm..
because I have my doubts if painting it is a good idea .. did they have to remove the trim to wrap it or is it done while on the car ?
Regards,
Max

Both are beauties Vic....... nicely done! I absolutely love the wagon.
If I ran window tint like that, I bet it would only be a matter of time before our local law enforcement would have me spread-eagle on the hood conducting a body cavity search.

You should go get a wagon to replace your c63. There was one in the showroom at MB Downtown Toronto last time I was there a few weeks ago. So rare...this is the lowest production car of MB, a fraction of the sls production according to Motor Trends.

The installer told me it should last 3-4 years and based on the cost its worth it to me. You are right its really plastic and thats why painting was not my desire. It would eventually chip away and the work takes alot longer to do. The trim, indeed, stays on the car and he just stretches the vinyl on and cuts it. Its a bit tedious to do and thats why I paid him but it took about 1 hour to do and I enjoyed a cold beer while waiting.

Yes, indeed it does give a bit more sport to the wagon. Now, it made me think wanting to have that P45SC in black for my E63 sedan. lol I was once bored with black on black
