The installer told me it should last 3-4 years and based on the cost its worth it to me. You are right its really plastic and thats why painting was not my desire. It would eventually chip away and the work takes alot longer to do. The trim, indeed, stays on the car and he just stretches the vinyl on and cuts it. Its a bit tedious to do and thats why I paid him but it took about 1 hour to do and I enjoyed a cold beer while waiting.
PS. Forgive me Vic , I didnt mean to take space on your post for my silly windows trim ... but then again it is your car that started it ! LOL

so I find someone in Miami , or at least close . surprisingly there werent that many ) .. for the window trim they wanted $250 per side and thats for Matt BLack , if Carbon fiber then it is more ! not that I would want CF.... is that number insane or am I am missing something !!

Fairly mod friendly state ... I Guess yes only because there are a lot of great cars here .. but at the same time ..so many rip off amateur people you cant imagine !! After all , I dont think there is a single city to rival Miami in the number of " Custom Forged three piece wheel companies " !!! I am sure I will find someone else .. at least I know I am not crazy for thinking that quote was outrageous.

i drive them all, fast and hard
lived in FtLaud, 4 4 yrs, never got a ticket, got pulled over on 595 and turnpike going up to orlando
talked my way out of them, pulled off the whole doctor lingo
and the coppers in FL dont even use radar always,
moved back to cali and been ****ed like 3 times in a yr, f the chp

That CLS looks absolutely sick! As someone wrote its inspirational I think I will have to get the same wheels eventually (when I get my in September) im in love with those wheels (and other mods youve done).
The E looks good too, love the E in white..! But in my opinion it is lowered too much. I find that the *** (rear end) of lowered wagons look too "fat" (heavy). I had my, now sold, CTS-V wagon lowered but had to change it back to normal springs and height because I just dont like that look.
But oh my god that CLS is beautiful!! I cant wait to get mine!!
