Another LSD Question

Would like to hear some comments/opinions from 2012 CLS63 owners that DO NOT have the LSD option. Is it a big issue not having it? Do your tires constantly spin under hard straight line acceleration? If you bought another CLS 63, would you get the LSD option?
Thanks!

ok.. with more than 500hp you're going to need it. and a better set of tires once you leave 550hp territory. bottom line get the LSD!

EPDRD,
Seems like everyone on this board loves LSD, if you're ordering or have a choice, I’d get it. The problem I have is finding a car, without P30 performance package, in dealer inventory that has LSD. Looks like most dealers don’t inventory LSD cars without PP. I begin to wonder..could I make the sacrifice, no LSD for a car in a few days? Many on the board are very serious drivers and always striving for the most possible speed and mods. They’re an excellent resource of knowledge and experience. I’m certain it’s very important to them. But again, if I’m a daily driver that just likes to punch now and again, is it a deal breaker?

Saeed - Doesn't LSD relate to the massive torque this car has rather than the HP?

I have LSD and a Renntech tune and I am slipping like crazy WITH the LSD....
Listen to the engine when I punch it 35MPH....and skip the first 10 seconds of the vid...its annoying...

PP is also great for the suspension, not just power, and that you may need for day-to-day driving. In my case, LSD (included in PP in Canada) and the suspension were the deciding factors to get PP although it was pricey. I have a tuned c63 (510hp) without LSD and it's an ongoing battle to keep traction so getting lsd for the car was a must. If you cannot find lsd without PP, it might make sense to get it with PP anyway...

I was look at a 2012 CLS 63 over the weekend and it didn't have the LSD, even though the sales woman insisted it did for the first ten min. I loved the car and was going to post a similar thread, I'm going to hold off my self for one with the LSD since my 2009 C 63 has one and I feel like if I'm going to buy another AMG it should have one.
