2012 CLS63 V8TT | Boost Gauge
i go to bed at night and dream about a digital boost gauge that can be integrated into the AMG speedometer section of our odometer. or perhaps in our navigation system a dedicated window marked AMG with a boost reading. I want to know how many pounds i'm pushing out of those little garrett turbos that make such a sweet sound.
if they are any venders out there that do this that would be awesome.
orrr i just thought of this, when you plug into the OBD port does it give you a reading for boost?

Does it have to be in the instrument cluster?.there are many nice looking digital boost gauges available. Defi gauges are pretty nice. And I'm pretty sure you can see boost reading through the obdII

CLS 55 AMG, FX45, F-350, Top Secret Widebody Supra (Sold) and other vehicles on another Planet
Here's what you guys should do.
Contact Midcity Engineering and get an auxiliary output connected to your screen. Then pick up an HKK Camp 2 and call it a day. You'll get boost, AFR, temps, etc all on your factory screen. You can switch from analog to digital. I have a Kenwood screen in my CLS and will be going with an HKS Camp 2. My screen is a little lower in placement but I have a little trick in the works to get the screen images displayed near eye level. You guys with the new 63 have the screen at an acceptable level compared to us 219 guys. I want my gauges out of site for the most part. Here are some images for reference.

Cmusngi,
This looks like a great solution! Is this as simple as hooking into an auxiliary input so it displays on the screen and then simple plugging the device into your OBD port and call it a day or are the additional sensors and/or connections that need to be installed under the hood?
