Has anybody got their cls63 tt ECU tuned by kleemann? I was quite happy with the product and service from Cory on my previous C63 and I'm considering them for my 2012 cls.

Hey Russ, it's been a long time my friend. It's nice to see that you are still around. I am sure that PP performance is a great company but I am looking for someone closer to home.

I will more than likely let Cory and Kleemann tune my car when it arrives. I have great faith in him and Kleemann products. Cory told me that they have already done several TT cars with very impressive results.

He told me he did about 20 M157 in the US plus another 20 in Europe. With only 20 or 40, I thought they are still newbies with this engine. But I don't know how many ecu Renntech has done for example. I trust Cory for sure but was just hoping to find some validation from others with Kleemann for this engine.

Switzer just installed a P600 package on my GTR. I know they were working on the new Mercedes TT platform. Are they using PP performance for their tunes? I will have to give Tim and Neil a call.

I have done the RENNtech. It was noticeable afterwards but I dont remember by how much as I was away from the car for a few days while the ECU was gone.

Switzer was getting into MB some time ago and had the **** clown named Joe who used to work for RENNtech (left RENNtech and tried to take their tunes with him) needless to say after a week, check engine light was on. as great they are with Porsche, GTR's, and other vehicles, I don't think they have the time to even put forth to a real MB project.

We already beat EVOTECH 735 PS with turbo upgrade last weekends at Moscow mile with just tune and downpipes same car...

Any cars running the Renntech tune in Russia? I just ordered their R1 package … never worked with them before but will hopefully be able to get some before and after datalogs/timings

I've had the Kleeman tune for over a month now and it's incredible. Dyno'd just where it was supposed to (assuming 20% loss at the wheels) showing 531/581.I have the results posted under the regular CLS heading. The car is just a drivable around town but has a real edge to it. Much more like the M5. In other words, it's perfect. PM me if anyone wants for details or, better yet, email Corey. He responds almost immediately.

Nope....but I got thier downpipe and IC kit... IC kit didnt work well in ABU DABI...temp went up to 120 quick vs stock....

I am getting full exhuast system and ics kit next week and will tune the car st 1 anf then later st 3 with full exhaust and IC...

Are u saying there''s no improvement in temps over the stock setup or was is worse than stock? Which ICs are you trying out now? Also, how does the downpipe work for you? Great sound as well as power gains?

Here's what I'm saying. I have the R1 package and the temps got to almost 140 and the WHP maxed out at 535 and dropped off way before redline. We are going to try a larger heat exchanger and a cooler box in the trunk to see how much more WHP we can get with the temps down.

I didn't do a baseline Dyno before the R1 installation....I know.....

Maybe we should split up the heat exchanger from the coolant circuit, just like the 55k.

Yes when we test in Abu Dabi..it was like +40...motor temps went up faster then with stock set up...cause this IC close front gap...

The one I a getting is from VAETH and full exhaust plus PP custom tune we will do it on the road and dyno...most power they see is 710 PS on this stage...

yup

thats what i heard when installing IC, temps rises. thats why i am still waiting on this to see the best IC setup for these cars.
