CLS63 All clear tail light
Hey guys,

Anyone know of any vendor that sells an all clear tail light for a W218?

If there are no aftermarket all clear tail lights, is there any way of turning the "red portion" of the tail light into "clear"?

What color are you picking up that you want clear taillights? Sounds like you have a plan. Do tell!

-Well I've been told my '13 CLS63 is arriving end of July and mine will be a black on black.

I'm really into the all clear tail light look that Aston Martins have so I'm hoping to have that same look...

idk, maybe it might come out different.

I saw the new F10 with the same treatment and it didnt look all too hot...


MAYBE a bit of a smoke would help out with the non "ricey" look...

but. It is your car, and you can do whatever you wish to it.

Agree the F10 clears looked poor... but Porsche clears look good on the carrerra's.

For SURE! those clears look amazing. We'll just have to see. Some cars can pull it off, others cant

The entire plastic is red, its not a film or coating... I dont see it happening.

Now I do think that for the E63 you can get the Euro tails which are clear---- but I dont know about the CLS... the M/E guys run the same tails as we do.

Yeah, Im currently in Europe and those tails on the CLS are same... no difference that I saw... just a really cool Matte brown CLS that i saw that I thought looked amazing...

2006 CLS55 AMG Sold 2010 E550 Coupe totaled by mechanic, '13 SL550 I totaled it, 2017 SL63 current
Spray the tails black and leave the clear part..that way it will blend into the black car.
