adaptive high beam
has anyone been able to get this feature to work?
i have had 2 cars with it. and ive yet to see it actually switch from high beam to low beam when approaching traffic.(at night)
the only way i can get the high beams to come on is by manually turning them on.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Try checking the settings in that clusters of options that include instrument, lighting, etc. If it's correctly selected but not working, then it sounds like time to pay a visit to MB service. It's working for me (W212) but I turned that off in my car because I would rather control high/low beam myself.
With the hi-beam lever in the on/active position (pushed forward to the front of the vehicle) and the vehicle lights on, I have seen the variations in lighting (low beam to hi-beam)... but only on dark rural roads. In the city, it usually determines there is enough light (especially from street lights), so the hi-beams rarely come on. I don't know if there are any dash settings to change the sensetivity... that would be a helpful feature.
