I think LSD is important in a car like this, at least for safety reasons. Plus, it does not cost that much compared with other options.
What did you pay for the car in aed and when will it arrive?

Since nobody else is answering - I have heard that question asked before and it seems nobody notices any chattering or noise. A lot of hardcord race cars have diffs built w/ that level of performance but an LSD for the CLS should be noise free.

I would go for aftermarket LSD by Quaife if I were you. The oem one is nice, but it's a friction-based on that will eventually wear out and need replacement. Quaife LSD is mechanical-based and will never need replacement.

OEM is not friction and it have been there since way long, on CLS55 and i know giuys reached 400k km without any issue.
i think it is a must, and an after market will just screw the owner in UAE with warranty if they discovered it.
i have it saif and there is no noise at all and its nice from 0 to luanch it hard or even at sideways drifting.

Ohhhh how I wish there was no such thing as depreciation.... I would buy the new TT.....
BUT, to add to the LSD- go for it.... if dough isn't a problem then I dont see why not to get it... and it shouldn't make any noise... IMO. its a $100k+ car... shouldn't even peep.
