I have about 4500 miles on my 2012 CLS63. When do I have to change the oil? It's asked me to add a quart a couple of times, but when do I have to bring it in for a full change? Looked in the manual and couldn't find it - perhaps I'm just blind or a dumbass, but I imagine everyone else on this forum isn't and probably one of you knows

IMO you are about 3500 miles late. The first oil change is always the most important one. I change my oil in all my cars every 3k miles.

Not necessary to change it then unless you have Limited Slip and in that case the LSD differential oil has to be changed at 1850 miles.

I just changed my LSD oil I think it was 3000 miles, maybe less. The regular oil change is when the service A comes up , approx 12 to 15 k or 1yr. Mine just came on yesterday at 9k at 1 yr.

I did rear diff at about 1800.....but I waste enough money on a daily basis, so I'll wait for the car to tell me to change the engine oil

That is definitely overkill if you are using synthetic but not for vehicles using non-synthetic but I guess you can never be too safe

my car is one of the sintered bronze matte PCE cars. those did not have the LSD correct? So in that case, I should just wait for my A maint in another few months?

Any dealer should be able to run your VIN and tell you if you have LSD if you are not sure
