Car warned me to add 1 quart and it has 4777 miles. Its this common?

 

yes! other cars would just not tell you about it....
we need some window stickers that say 'my car is smarter than your car'

Yup. Totally normal. I go through about 1 qt between oil changes -roughly 8,500 miles.

Unrelated, but Porsche spec is 1.6 quarts per 622 miles (for the 997 M96 motor). Be glad you're only going through a quart at 4777 miles...

This has happened i just gave the car an ok change, anyone suggest a good oil for the car?

 

Three qts first 9800 mi ,before first oil change. If not mobile 1 spec oil, try Amsoil European Blend.

 

Thanks. I took my car last night after changing the slip oil. I flt the difference immediately.
