Any rough ideas on how many 2012 cls 63"s were imported to US?

I’m just curious. I would guess 1500ish for the cls63 but I might be way off.
I would guess 3000 for the E63 and 750 for the s63? your thoughts? are these even close?

 

My guess would be 1500 or under. Here are the numbers for US sales of the W219:

Mercedes CLS-Class
CLS 55 AMG
2006- 2765

CLS 63 AMG
2007- 699
2008- 634

On a side note, I pulled up to Starbucks today.....waiting for my wife to grab a latte when a 60yo+ woman walked up to my car, knocked on my window and proceeded to tell me that she was delighted to see a Mercedes that actually deserved to wear the star. I got a chuckle out of he enthusiasm......love this car!!

 

Rock - Awesome info!! And huge compliments like that always put a smile on your face. When I drive my Shelby, believe it or not, I get more compliments from 60+yr old women than I do from anyone else. Maybe I was just born 30 years too late. :/

 

my next question would be what number is mine? is that coded into a serial
number of some sort?
