Just remember that no matter how much you tune your vehicle, there is always something faster out there. With that in mind, I'm satisfied with my car.

Agree here and there are some or at least one tuner who doesnt even open up the ECU but instead drills a hole in it to access the board.
The only car still stock in my stable is the C63BS--- shockingly true. It comes from the factory "turn key" IMHO.
Sorry Pert for the thread jackeroooooo

to sorta counter what vic said about throttle response, it is subjective, obviously differs how one drives....ive been fooling around with the different settings some more, C mode is obviously a waste especially being a amg car. At city speeds the car drags along, and feels very heavy. If you are on the freeway just cruising its ok.
S mode is actually quite nice, its quick, but not jumpy like S+ can be at times. I find it smooth and good for city and hwy. Its what C should have been.
S+ is obviously awesome . IMHO throttle response is quite quick in the S modes.
Obviously a tune will sharpen these ....but for me, right now its good.
Are those 2 12s,
is the box fiberglassed in the back?

Very nice! Now comes tracking down the rattles or do they do that for you? If they took apart the center console for any reason, can you please ask them what steps they needed to do to get it apart.

Sounds like a great outfit. They clearly do a lot of extra steps. Taping off the rear end, tuning and rattles. Most shops just put it in and call it a day. I see why you drive down there.

Congrats on the install. Looks super clean.
It appears that I am following your steps. I had a C63 with 9500ci and aftermarket sub and I have my CLS on order.
I am not as intense as you are regarding the stereo (I applaud you). I only did one 12 sub and one amp and it was enough for my ears.
Can you confirm that they used a Midcity box to connect your 9500 to the cluster. The $400 price excluding install sounds extreme for this feature and I can live with the little blue screen.
Can you share your thoughts on the CLS63 vs the C63? Thanks in advance.
