another toy--with pictures!!
might actually consider that suggestion, thanx for the comment man
I found a good Pforum I'm sure I can dig up some more information; although have not seen many Targa's.......yet.....
I found the Rennlist forum to be pretty traveled, unlike the German Auto forums that is kind of weird......

btw, I saved a different shot of that particular car: one from the front right corner........super nice.....

You already are spoiled with the hp and tq in the CLS and the Targa will feel slower with heavier wheels. You want to cut unsprung weight. The rule of thumb is as follows:
For each lb of unsprung weight reduced is supposedly equal to 4lbs of sprung weight. So lets say your stock wheels weigh 28 lbs each (tires remain the same in weight) and you drop to HRE at 21 lbs, you will gain 7 lbs per corner or 28 total lbs. Take the 28 lb number times 4 and thats like removing 112 lbs from inside your sled. Trust me as someone who has gone thru more wheels than most (high end ones too) and you can tell the difference for sure in acceleration and braking.

I'm not sure of the SC for the wheel, but the regular P47, just sealed the deal on the phone
