His and Hers....

CLS needs mods bad, feels unresponsive and slow after Renntech S63TT.
G63 has the ECU done already.

Gorgeous cars, congratulations on two awesome cars.

How was your experiance with Knauz? I've either done business with Autohaus or Loeber.

I purchased 19 cars in the last 9 years from Knauz,5 Range Rovers and the rest a mix of various 600s,65s and 63s.
They are really nice to me.....
Btw,I used to work at Autohaus (Sales and F&I) in the early 80s.
Went back to buy a car in 2000 (CLK55) and got screwed royally on my trade in.
I took the car and never went back....

The M157 throttle does seem lazy from the factory---- once you get it tuned you will only say: WOW.

Congrats does your car have night view assist? If so, how does it compare to night view assist in the S63?

It does.
Since it uses Nav screen it is a bit less practical then S63,a slightly better contrast maybe, otherwise no difference.

Thanks for the response. One last question. Did the S63 have the B&O sound system? If so, how does the CLS stereo compare?

I have to make the decision of CLS63 or S63, only drawback with the S is that the new bodystyle is coming out soon.

I went nuts when ordering the S,Designo paint, interior and B&O of course.
Total waste of $$,IMHO,standard Harman Kardon sounds perfectly sufficient and satisfies my needs 100%.
It always cracks me up when I hear heated discussions praising some minuscule advantages in the quality of different sound systems in various cars.
In a theatre,or home it may make a difference but in a performance car?
AMG in particular?with performance exhaust?

I agree -- I think Harman Kardon is perfectly sufficient, I lower down my audio volume to a minimum and sometimes even turning it off when I'm going for a spirited driving.. The sound of the exhaust is more fun to listen to especially with throttle blips

Congrats on the new wheels and both look great.
I doubt that a tuned S63 would show its tail to a CLS63PP. You are probably taking it easy during the break in period .
I am sure that once tuned, you will love it.

+1

I mostly turned on the audio system mostly only when crusing the highway at near constant speed.
