CLS 63AMG Shooting Brake
CLS63 & Iphone 5, What can I expect of functionality
Hi All, hope someone can provide some info, as I don't want to spend anytime reading any manuals, as soon as this car is in my hands. I'm waiting delivery of a CLS 63 Shooting Brake, hopefully Monday next week. What functionality can I expect to get with an Iphone 5 and do I need any additional leads/adapters, as I want the dealer to sort this out when I pick the car up. Does it charge the phone using USB or will it be 12 V socket. Will it display emails and TXTs via command. I presume I can do most of teh contacts/calls via bluetooth. Also does anyone know what type of SIM card it needs for internet (i.e nano, micro). I'l post some feedback on the car in Iphone 5 integration next week

Buy the little adapter (30 pin to 8 pin) and everything works.
A forum from England tested it and the phone, video and music functions all worked fine.
I do not know about emails.
Post pics of your new beast when you get it. I think you will be the first one on the forum.
