Part Number Request
Hi all-
Been searching all over to no avail, so I was wondering if anybody can provide me the part number for the passenger -side tail light of a 218 CLS. Dealer is being coy and won't give it to me, so this was more or less my last resort.
Thanks

I'd ask for a manager or someone that could get the job done

Hyperion-
The dealer typically refuses to give out part numbers for precisely this reason. They'll quote me a price, but they don't like to give out PNs because they know we can just turn around and order the part for much cheaper. I typically have to go to the parts dept, request the part I need, then request an irrelevant part and take a photo of the PN when the guy is in the back searching for it. I'm tired of playing games, though, so I figured I'd just ask the experts.

Yes, this is great, but I was hoping to get the exact part number (it doesn't seem this site provides it) so that I can order it from Parts.com. In my experience, their prices are much closer to wholesale, however you need an exact part number to order from them.

That is it indeed. Thank you so much. $276 on Parts.com versus $322 on MB parts center.
Man I love this forum. Good to be back (used to be very active a few years ago under a different username).
Thanks everybody!!
(P.S. here are some pictures of the beast for good measure. Enjoy)
