HRE S101 in Brushed Titanium - HRE and Wheel Enhancement

Nice! So, when are you going to sell this one. :-)
FYI, your old P43SCs weighed in at 48.5 lbs for the fronts with tires and 51 lbs for the rears. In comparison. the OEM split spoke option wheels weighed in at 54 lbs fronts and 58.5 rears.

Not selling these...in fact, these are the reason I will be probably selling my P40SCs, since I dont see myself swapping these out for anything except the 4th and final set I have coming.

Hahaaaaaaaaaaa I just realized these were the wheels you purchased from WB but then couldn't keep them because of an unexpected bill. No wonder you think I should have gone with these!!

I think it would be cheaper to have the wheels photoshopped on your car before you buy another set.
I've had a 7 sets of HREs but that was over 20 years time span. I swear HRE must have fed you and Vic something. :-)

It looks like a keeper. Of course until the CF wheels come out. :-)

Dude, the finish on the wheels you posted are siiiiiiiiiick!!! Im just giving you ****. Also, the reason I did the wheel and the lip the same color is because if I accentuated the lip on the car, it would look suuuuuuuper small. These wheels as is, look the same size as any other 20s I have owned with this car. With a proper shoot and a good car wash, I think these will pop.

I'm sorry man I know I sound like a dïck most of the time but I don't know how to give my opinion without being harsh, that wasn't my intention. I just feel bad because I know how much you paid for them and the previous set looked much better on the car, but hey if you like them that's all that matters

Well done again... You are lucky you dont have a bunch of rides cause 3 or 4 sets of wheels per car every 6 months can get craaaaaaaaaaazy LOL
I think your weights were off and Raymond cleared it up. I know the SC's weigh less as I have weighed them both at HRE (101's 20x9 and my P40SC's). The 3 piecers will always come out slightly heavier.

I think the pics don't do them justice because they are not exposed as they should have been.
They are in the shadow whereas the car is in direct sunlight - this definitely messed up the propotions.
I'm going to wait for a pro-photoshoot because this looks very promissing.
BTW I can't believe you sold the bronze wheels... My personal favorite

Ok, apparently, after some recalculations from various Caltech engineers and certain unnamed people in a city called Vista, the weights for the Gold wheels are:
Front – 49.6
Rear – 54.6
So the S101s -- at least for the fronts -- are a little over 2lbs heavier.
I stand corrected.

Those wheels look sick and they rank #1 compared to the ones you have owned before on the CLS.
There are very similar to the 3WD 40UR wheel. You probably decided to go with HRE since you must be getting a serious preferred client discount.
I am debating between that design and the Strasse SM7.

True story
The wheels look sick. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 7, plus 1 for originality, plus 1 for being HRE's, and plus 1 because I know how expensive they were, lol. Total = 10 (for the mathematically impaired). I'm surprised HRE hasn't made a vending machine for you where you could just swipe your card and get a new set.
