Escort "yes" (most likely) and stereo probably not. Loved the stereo in the cls63 but to replicate what I had would be a huge investment and to take it out of the CLS63, put the Mercedes back to stock and then install in the m5 would be a lot of money as well. I'm going to see if my will power allows me to keep the M5 stock (minus the CF goodies that BMW is putting on it before it gets trucked down to me). Maybe an Akra exhaust. I've already ordered a lot of stuff for the M3.

 

careful with the BMW dealer CF goodies, ive seen a few examples and they arent as well fitting as some of the good hi end aftermarket companies....just from what ive seen

now with the cls, as its a lease, lets say u have to return it to MB, instead of lease transfer,....how does having modded it extensively play into the whole lease process....just curiuous

 

If you want to take over the lease, hit me up. If not, I'd rather spend my Sunday not going into hypotheticals with someone who has no interest in getting the car. As for the Carbon Fiber pieces from BMW, if anything doesnt fit right, they are going to be getting the parts back and I will be getting my money back. I am a big boy, and this isnt my first rodeo.

 

Congrats man, Irony at its finest as you move away from the three pronged star as I have several times. Ill come back to AMG after the Black is done and I get my desire for different marquis out of my blood.

Its a great car isnt? It only lasted 6 months for me though. Make sure you always drive in the most extreme settings or you wont get the most out of the car. Its not like AMG with just 2 main settings. You will need to run the drive logic in 3, shift in sport plus, and accelerator pedal in sport plus. Run the shocks in sport plus but keep the steering in sport or comfort as there is too much understeer in sport plus. The car just feels like a block of power doesnt it?

Do me a favor and drive the M6- feels faster, better handler, and just a better car than the F10 chassis.

 

Its called Montecarlo Blue Hyp- the Kia one is far more bold. MCB is a great color.

It's like I do everything you do, but 5 steps slower and about 15 levels down on the "baller" scale. I liked the M5 a lot and at the price I got it for, it was a no-brainer. Now, the drive up to Camarillo felt like I was driving to Canada (about a 10 hour round trip drive from San Diego because of traffic....when it's only 50 miles north of LA). Next time, I am borrowing your helicopter or jet pack and avoid the LA traffic that makes me happy to not live there anymore!!

you sure drove a long way for that car no doubt. Camarillo is way the fawk up there closer to Ventura. You like the car? Did you get a chance to push it under throttle with the aggressive settings?

 

For below invoice pricing.....I will drive. I like the car a lot and got to push it a little bit...and even from that enjoyed it. Havent tried the aggressive settings yet, but will definitely do that once it gets here. Also, going to block and delete any HRE contact info from my phone, computer or skytell pager.

Left San Diego at around 9am...North County San Diego, so about 30 min closer to Camarillo then where I live. After a couple stops, we made it to Camarillo around 1.

We left Camarillo around 3, and I got home, after a couple quick pit stops at 9pm.

I wanted to shoot everybody. Car accident on 405 going home in Long Beach. Took PCH from Camarillo all the way to the 10 East because the 101 to 405 was so horrendous.

 

I admit having some 'pretty strong feelings' while I'm driving........guess one could boil it down to road rage........not only does a lot of BS happen to me personally; but I actually SEE a lot of it too, and sometimes I take it upon myself to retaliate for the offended you know? even though that's just as dumb.....
a guy in Florida was shot a few weeks ago because of RR......
