space age paint that cannot be painted over, so I'm stuck with these for eternity......but that's okay since it makes so many cats here so happy

did HRE help you out during the order process? usually sales staff will recommend color choice based on the vehicle appearance. also, they should tell you straight up that certain combos will not work out.

not trying to deflect blame, but i would have expected more of my sales associate...

I did actually email someone there about a 'blue' color, and that was the one that was sent to me......I liked the color, and still do......it is a damn vibrant hue eh??
a lot of folks around my neck of the woods have been really positive about them......the only negative feedback has been from the forum....
I ordered them through Discount Tire, as they deal with HRE....

but again, I was sent the picture, and went ahead with the order anyway...they are flashy and do attract a lot of attention.....so a color change wouldn't be bad.......just a matter of a few more weeks........

hyperion, maybe a lighter blue would mix better with the silver body but still give you the pop of color you are looking for. i'm thinking something like a powder/baby/caribbean style would blend from the silver yet still stand out. would match the UNC style as well. wouldn't want it too "jumpy" but could maybe play with tinting to tone it down. change the wheel caps to a darker style as well to match the rest of the car's trim.

i dunno, just thinking of options. it's obvious you don't want to be too conservative!

Nice looking car, but the wheel color is pretty out there. I remember seeing your reply saying that they'd like it better if it was slammed. This color would look a lot better on a more aggressively stanced car, not one at stock height. I hope that makes sense. To be able to pull off such an extreme color, your car has to be pretty extreme. Or else you'll look like this:

that's a nice color wheel, and I agree completely about the car needing to be so bad **** that blue wheels wouldn't matter, but it is un tuned and not even dropped, hell doesn't even have a boomer sound system.......haha, so the wheels were over the top...
