Please someone chime in if you know the answer...
I was at the dealership today to swap the steering wheel from my old C63 to the new CLS63 and the steering buttons are not working.....
I was told by the tech that in order to make the controls work i have to replace the module which is @ $2000. I have until saturday to try to find a steering wheel that would work on my old C63 so i can swap it. He also said that no matter what other steering wheel i get, the controls/buttons will not work, because it was not made for my car. (ii think it's bull****!) Anybody here interested in doing a purchase/trade with me? If i don't don't anything till saturday, it will be gone....

the shop where u bought it, dont they have any ideas?

I have seen the wrenchers at dealers: they do not think outside the safety box of MB........try an indy shop

Did anyone ever find a definitive answer as to could a different model steering wheel be re-programmed without spending $2k? I just replaced my steering from my 2012 cls550 with a brand new one for the new cls63 with perf pkg. so it has the alcantara sides. Install was a breeze but no buttons whatsoever function. All buttons are identical as my other one. Also the paddle shifters do not work as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
