10,000miles are seamless when using email and the telephone. Would you drive hundreds of miles with your brother's supercharged SL63 with the problems? It seems that you figured out all your problems without having to go there, why do you suppose E-sickty should differ from your approach? Why did it work for you and not for him? hmmm...

You can't really feel it at that speed, however you can really tell if the car felt like there is no more power to pull when you go side by side with another car doing a pull.

One car in particular (2012 S63) had identical mods and tuning and it was running faster. We made 100% sure it wasn't tune related. We only suggest the customer come to us because he stated he frequents Southern California and originally came to us in-house for the tune.

I understand and you can claim that the other cars with your tune ran great -- however, I don't see that in my car. You clearly stated the first time it might be a dyno issue and second I have heating issue. Now that I proved you wrong, you are trying to say there are other issues with my car?

I know the OP as an honest guy -- sold him wheels and he was easy to deal with -- and I had a Weistec supercharger on my C63 (and didnt have any issues the short time I had the car); so without casting aspersions on either side, maybe its best at this late in the game, to just resolve this as quickly and conveniently as possible.
I've been thinking about a refund lately.

You clearly didn't read my posts on this thread enough. I've been through a lot of process to get to this point. I'm not here whining -- I'm here to take what Weistec stated my problem / issue was then test it and I proved Weistec wrong.. Why would I be whining?

What did Weistec do to justify the problem that they said?

We have recorded data from the car at the track event with intake air temperatures that were above 150F. This was a bit alarming because it is higher than normal and it could have been a problem. We aren't here to play games or make something up. This isn't about proving us wrong, it is about fixing an issue.

Please let us know how you would like to move forward at this point. Either we can flash your ECU back to its stock configuration and refund you, or we can do what was stated earlier, which is diagnosing the issue in-house and even strapping the car down on the dyno to assure problem is fixed. These options seem to be the most reasonable in this particular situation.

2012 does not have the additional cooling and splitted system.

so your car will heat soak after couple of times.

or your IC pump has an issue if your IATs are high !!

By proving you wrong, I mean the problem you stated was not the issue based on my test and findings. I've told my installer shop how I would like to move forward at this point -- so my shop will call you tomorrow.

Thank you

Three weeks have passed. IMO the OP owes the forum an update, or the thread needs to go away.

As in archived or otherwise not searchable.

If someone goes public with a beef, then they don't just get to leave it swinging in the breeze. A thread like this must have resolution.

Simple etiquette.

I've taken the matter offline regarding the resolution. If other people are OK with that, I don't understand why you would bother.

As for whether the thread needs to go or not, its been discussed as well -- so if you have a problem with that you can contact the admin.

I'll draw my own conclusions.

E-Sticky -- Many of us have read this thread from top-to-bottom... others have participated in it by either stating their opinions or offering suggestions to help you gain resolution. We are all on these forums to learn from others experiences and share ideas, so that we can all make better decisions for our own cars. I respect that you have taken the issue offline at this point, however, for those of us that already have Weistec products or those of us considering Weistec products in the future (particularly their tunes), understanding the final resolution is the most important part of this thread. I hope you will provide us with that information and encourage you to do so.

Ladies and Gents, we would like to update this thread and let those of you that view this post to know that we followed the customers wishes by submitting a refund, and re-flashed his ECU to it's stock configuration.

Please let us know how we can assist by answering any questions you may have. Thank you all and thank you E-SIXTY3.

I understand where you are coming from. I was about to answer your question but Weistec has stated the resolution. So, long story short that is what the resolution was. Re-flashed ECU back to stock and a refund.

Sorry to hear you were not able to find the issue. It sucks to be back to stock.
