Hello MB World,

Since the CLS63 is such a stunning car, and I see some really amazing looking projects here of some cars tuned and dressed and they all look really good, so I thought I would share some pictures of the Carlsson CK63rs version for some viewing pleasure.

I hope you guys enjoy the pics...thanks!

2013 CLS63
Cls63 might be the least photogenic car of all time. Pictures never impress me but everytime I see one on the road it looks amazing.

Valve Control exhaust

Hey guys been trying to accommodate pictures of parts, everyone loves to see actual parts, so I have been trying to make time to snap some pics of a few items that I think most would want to see, we typically only show them on the cars, it is nice to sometimes see just the parts by themselves.
Pictured is the Valve control exhaust system for the CLS63, I figured modeling the exhaust on the 4 wheel dyno is a good stage

Nothing Carlsson ever does to Mercedes impresses me. Their body kits are either extremely tacky or overpriced or both.

There is some truth to this. It looks good in photos, with the darker colors - particularly black - looking best. In real life, the lighter colors - like white and silver - are absolutely stunning.

Mine is magno cashmere white (049 = renamed diamond white matte) and it gets a lot of stares both when parked and while driving. It needs frequent washing as do all white cars, and special soap and quick detailer without glossing agents is needed, but otherwise seems easy to care for.

The Diamond Matte white is an awesome color car, I think of all the matte colors the factory is offering the white I think blends the best combination.
Nice car!

I assume the price is prohibiting, but what are the power gains with this system?

The valve control exhaust system like most that are manufactured for this car does not make any major HP claims, the exhaust system was developed based on appearance and the ability to have the sound adjustment. Like any tuned exhaust system there is maybe a 5-8hp gain (typically in the higher RPM range) because of improved flow, but the system was developed to blend with the carbon rear diffuser and accommodate the demand for improved sound and cosmetics. Assuming that the price is prohibiting; the cost of our system is I believe to be very competitive to the costs of our immediate competitors who have offered and developed similar systems.

Thanks for your question, I hope this info is useful.

Jim
