does TUV certification do anything with regards to MB warranty? for example, if someone had a Renntech tune on their CLS63, then had engine problems that were considered by MB to be related to the tune, would TUV certification help maintain the MB warranty?
the reason I'm asking is because I would not jeopardize my MB warranty by installing a tune, unless it had no potential impact on the MB warranty. I'm not interested in a Renntech warranty.

The TUV is for the European after market as they have verystrict rules on modifying cars. As youknow we offer the RENNtech warranty and by law any aftermarket part you installon a car does not automatically void warranty. I understand some dealers tellcustomers that and scare them and it becomes a big concern when tuning a MercedesBenz or any car for that matter. We do work with Mercedes and hope to have awarranty program with them in the future. This way our customers will not haveto worry about the issue or warranty and have that piece of mind.
