DVD In-Motion
Just wanted to share my experience with the DVD In-Motion product.
I used the company before on one of my previous vehicles but had to have a unit installed physically.
As I went out to their site I saw that they now send you a link to a file that you download and burn onto a CD-R or DVD-R and install it right in your DVD player.
I can't stand that you cannot input directions while moving. (yes, call it dangerous but it doesn't change how I feel)
I figured for the $199 I'll give it a go. I paid through Paypal and not 15 minutes later I was sent my file. Awesome! This morning I burned the disk, uploaded into the car, and five minutes later everything worked perfectly!
Just wanted to share my experience as it's as simple as can be. Top notch experience that I'd highly recommend!

And will get the same thing for my upcoming E. His will allow apps, nav, and dvd while in motion but also has add on features that you can get such as trunk close with remote and ECO off.

Saks- here's what I received back from them. I'm not sure what about your VIN is different. 2012 CLS63 AMG. Maybe there is a variation within the model year? I'd reach back out to her and let her know that I had one sent and it would appear that we have the same model and see if there was an error.

All set. Thanks. My MB dealer entered the incorrect VIN on the sheet I was looking at. My own stupidity for not checking the vehicle itself. File downloaded and CD burned. Hoping to update the car this weekend. I appreciate your help.

i ordered this as well, gave them my vin#, said it would work, my car is 2018 s63 amg. However, when i installed the software to my usb drive and followed the instructions, the car didnt recognize it. One note, the install video and pics in this thread show the radio and it looks different than my setup. My usb, microsd, etc is all located in the middle center console. The radio power off/on, volume, etc is where the touchpad is at in the center console. Wondering if this really only works on the older model cars where the radio looks like the pics in this thread. thoughts? Anybody else able to make this work on the newer 2018 and up cars?
