I have problem finding winter tires for my CLS 63 AMG Perfomance Package. The car needs tires with speed code Y(300 km/h) or at least W(270 km/h) but only the summer tires are with these codes. The sizes for this car are 255/35 19 and 285/30 19. I am looking for Pirelli Sottozero Serie II and Michelin Pilot Alpin but they are both with speed code V(240 km/h). With what tires are you driving in the winter because I cant find something better?

I'd go with the Michelins and hold speed to less than the tire speed rating -- probably OK in the winter. Even better if they are available in something close in size would be Nokian Hakkapeliittas. And for better traction in snow, slush and rain, go with a narrower tire. You can check for a suitable Hakkas at
I have studded Hakkas for my GLK and have used them for many, many years on my BMWs. I've run Michelins on all my non-SUV Mercedes, but for ultimate performance in winter, go with Hakkas if you can find a fit.
Speed code V is fine. You won't track your car on winter tires anyway. I've been driving on Sottozero for 2 winters with my CLS63 and on Nokian for 3 winters prior with a C63. Depending on where you live, you may want to go with the same size for all four wheels.
